Super Identity and Secret Identity: Eames, also known as the Forger. No first name known.
Alliance: Unaligned, goes where the team goes.
Gender Preference: Male
Age: ?
Birthday: ?
Personality: Eames likes to come off as James Bond. Smooth, suave. He is very confident, knowing he’s the best at what he does. Despite all this confidence he isn’t invulnerable. Eames doesn’t show it, especially not in public, choosing to hide away somewhere with a bottle. He is a bit of a loner, though he has no problems working with a team.
Eames like big guns, fast cars and gambling. He’s not always a honest player. He hasn’t that much respect for the law, though he wouldn’t kill anyone outside a dream. He gets very snappish when you ask him about things you shouldn’t ask about- his past, for example.
Appearance: Eames a fit man, broad-shouldered and strong. He has dirty blonde hair that he usually wears slicked back. He is often seen with a little scruff, but it usually depends on the situation. After time hiding away he usually looks haggard while on a job he looks much more like a real human being than a yeti.
Eames has a penchant for suits, especially suits with terrible shirts. His favourites are those with paisley patterns, though stripes in clashing colours will do as well. It is what causes him to stand out in faraway lands.
Eames may look differently in dreams; he usually pretends to be someone else, someone close to the mark in order to extract or distract, though sometimes he may take on an entirely new person. He prefers the leggy blonde persona over his others, though.
History: Eames prefers to keep his history a secret. While it is clear to the others in the team that he has been in the army, he rather not talk about that. The less they know about him, the better.
Eames has worked with Arthur, Cobb and Mal before the Fischer Inception job, but even back then he was a secretive bastard. He never told anyone where he came from, except that it was from Britain, which isn’t very surprising due to his British accent.
After the Fischer Inception job he went his separate ways. The team kept picking up each other up for jobs, recommending each other that eventually they just stuck together. Eames doesn’t complain about it; he knows these guys –and girl- will have his back.
Secret Identity: Eames doesn’t really have a public identity. He isn’t a public hero, or a villain. Despite this he has many aliases and is a very secretive person. When not on a job, he is spending his time evading Cobol’s men coming after them or indulging himself with the money earned on a job.
Power: Eames is a dreamwalker; it means he can literally walk in someone else’s dream. He can use it to extract information from someone’s subconscious, or plant an idea. This business is risky though. If the dreamer wakes up before the invader is out, the dreamer’ll be stuck. If an invader gets killed in the dream, or woken up through the sensation of falling, usually called a kick, he will wake up.
Eames also has a special talent; he is a Forger and can change appearances. In combination with studying a person, he can copy them perfectly. He is also a skilled fighter, which he probably picked up either in the business or in the army.
In order to confirm he is awake he has a totem. His totem is a red poker chip, though nobody knows how it works.
RP Sample: He observed his target through the window, watched the way he talked –expressive, with a lot of hand gestures and a big smile- while now and then taking a drag from his cigarette. He opened the first two buttons of his shirt. Eames was used to the heat, after he’d spend months in Mombasa, in Cobol’s backyard. But the heat back in Mombasa had been dry, not this humid kind of heat that was like a smothering, suffocating blanket.
He sighed, as he finished his smoke and sauntered back in, sitting back down in his chair. He could hear his target talk now, loud and kind of rude. It would take him another two days, maybe three, to fully copy his speech pattern. It was easy. His target, the mark’s brother, was British too, from the general area he’d grown up in.
He was supposed to guilt-trip the man’s brother into telling him the code of the vault with the corporate secrets Cobb was after. An easy job, but good money. Not too far from home but not risky either. Just plain old corporate espionage.
“Will sir take another beer?” The waiter asked him. Eames considered it. He had a full week more. He could spend some time procrastinating. Could use some time off; he had been shadowing this man for two weeks now.
“Not a beer” he told the waiter, though. “Irish coffee, please.” He leaned back in his chair, listening in to the loud conversation a few tables away. He played with his red poker chip under the table, turning it in one hand as he leaned back. This was going to be a long night.
Other: Kind of looking for an Arthur, I guess. Eames’ totem was never shown in the movie though I believe someone once said it was a red poker chip. Not sure how it works though, so it’s a big secret.
